How much does a yacht wedding production cost in Miami?+
Two published packages, up to 24 hours coverage each. Yacht Wedding · No DJ from $4,500 — ceremony rig (1 battery speaker, 2 wireless mics, mixer) + yacht reception rig (2 battery speakers, 4 weatherproof LED uplights, 2 vertical fog jets), 2 technicians on-board, bring your own DJ or run a curated playlist through our system. Yacht Wedding · With DJ from $6,500 — upgraded ceremony rig (2 battery speakers), upgraded reception rig (2 concert-grade speakers, 8 uplights, 2 vertical fog jets, 300W moving heads), vetted Miami DJ + technician on-board. Sound and lighting permits are the client's responsibility.
Does the package include the yacht charter?+
No — Rondosound is a sound, lighting and DJ production company, not a charter operator. You book the yacht through your charter company (Aqua, Aristocrat, Tikki Beach, Charter One, Ocean Group and others). We bring all audio, lighting and crew on board. We coordinate dock load-in, weight distribution and power requirements with your captain ahead of departure. If you need a charter recommendation, ask — we don't take referral fees.
What's the difference between Yacht Wedding and a regular yacht event?+
Yacht Wedding is built specifically for the wedding flow — ceremony component (battery PA, wireless mics for vows, processional music) plus reception component (full PA, lighting, DJ if booked). It's a longer booking (up to 24 hours) versus a standard yacht event (3-6 hours), and the ceremony rig is included by default. A standard yacht event (see /yacht-av) is structured around a single party/charter format — sunset cruise, charter party, or mega yacht event — without the ceremony segment.
Why does the No DJ package have 2 technicians?+
Without a DJ on board, all sound responsibilities fall to the technical crew — ceremony cues, mic handoffs, vows audio, transitions to cocktail and dinner music, and any music your own DJ or playlist runs through our system. Two technicians handle this reliably across the full day. With the With DJ package, the DJ owns the music programming and one technician supports the rig, so the crew split is 1 DJ + 1 tech.
Can I bring my own DJ on the No DJ package?+
Yes — that's exactly what the No DJ package is for. Your DJ patches into our system at the reception spot. We provide PA, lighting and technical support; your DJ provides the music. Common for couples who already have a favorite DJ, a sibling who DJs, or a hired band.
How does the 24-hour coverage work?+
The booking covers up to 24 hours from crew load-in to load-out — enough to handle a full Miami yacht wedding day (morning prep + ceremony + cocktail + dinner + dance set + late-night recovery). Most yacht weddings run 8-12 hours total active time; the 24-hour window gives planning flexibility for early load-in or late wrap-up without per-hour overages. Yacht charter time is separate (booked with your charter company).
What yacht size do these packages cover?+
We scale the rig to the vessel — the package gear list is sized for typical Miami private charter yachts (40-90ft) carrying 6-40 wedding guests. Tell us your charter company, vessel name and expected guest count when you reach out and we'll confirm gear fit. For very small (sub-30ft, 2-6 intimate guests) or very large (100ft+ mega yacht weddings), we may quote a custom adjustment.
What about permits and Biscayne Bay noise rules?+
Sound and lighting permits/permissions for the charter route are the client's responsibility. Biscayne Bay vessel noise rules typically require music cutoff by 11 PM in most anchorage areas (USCG and Miami-Dade marine code). We design your timeline around this hard stop from booking, not as a surprise at the end of the night. Some routes outside the bay may have different limits — we advise per your specific itinerary.
