Miami Beach wedding DJ rental · South Beach · Mid-Beach · North Beach production
Miami Beach wedding production.
Renting a wedding DJ in Miami Beach? From South Beach clubs to Mid-Beach luxury hotels to quiet North Beach garden ceremonies — we handle every Miami Beach wedding format. Full DJ + production rental: sound, lighting, crew, DJ on top. SPL-metered, 25ft-rule compliant, and familiar with every load-in dock on the strip. From $1,800 (DJ Only) or $2,400 (DJ + Sound, most weddings).
Miami Beach weddings almost always happen inside or adjacent to a major hotel property. Each property has its own AV team, load-in protocol, power spec, and noise policy. We have worked alongside the hotel AV departments at these venues — we know which elevators fit a sub, which ballrooms have 208V and which are 120V-only, and who to call when the freight lift stops at 11 PM.

Our relationships with hotel AV teams mean less friction on the day. We coordinate vendor access timelines, confirm power specs in advance, and share our gear list so their in-house engineers know exactly what is coming through the dock. The result: a faster sound check and more time on the dance floor.
Neighborhood guide · Miami Beach zones
South Beach vs. Mid-Beach vs. North Beach.
South Beach
High energy, younger crowds, club-adjacent energy. South Beach couples typically want a tighter musical range — Top 40, hip-hop, reggaeton, salsa, bachata — with a real DJ feel, not a playlist operator. Noise enforcement is stricter south of 5th. We run cardioid sub configuration to keep dB at distance within ordinance.
Mid-Beach
Faena territory. Mid-Beach is the sophisticated quarter: Art Deco heritage, curated design hotels, older HNW guests. The music brief here leans toward soul, house, electronic with restraint, and bilingual sets that read the room. Wash/beam moving heads and brand-color uplighting make a statement in these ballrooms. Faena's AV team runs tight specifications; we know them by name.
North Beach
Family-oriented, quieter residential character. North Beach weddings are often garden ceremonies or boutique hotel receptions: smaller guest counts, multi-generational playlists, emphasis on ceremony audio quality. The 25ft rule is enforced but enforcement pressure is lower than South Beach, which makes it a clean pick for outdoor ceremony + indoor reception splits.
Compliance · Miami-Dade noise ordinance
25ft rule + permits. Handled.
Miami-Dade's 25ft rule (effective February 2026) caps amplified sound at 90 dB before 10 PM and 85 dB after — measured at 25 feet from the source. For outdoor beachfront events, this matters. We handle it with three tools: a calibrated SPL meter on every outdoor setup, cardioid subwoofer DSP (reduces low-frequency reach by 10–15 dB behind the speaker), and permit advisory — we walk you through Miami-Dade Special Event permit requirements and flag whether your venue needs one before you book.
Every outdoor Miami Beach wedding package includes a named technician who carries authority to reduce output immediately if a code officer requests it — so your party keeps going rather than getting shut down.
—SPL meter on every outdoor Miami Beach setup
—Cardioid sub DSP — reduces low-frequency spread
—Miami-Dade permit advisory included at no charge
—Named technician authorized to manage officer requests
—Weatherproof Chauvet H9IP uplights for beachside setups
—11 PM hard-stop built into every contract

Setup guide · beach ceremony + hotel reception
Ceremony on the beach, reception in the hotel.
The classic Miami Beach wedding format: an outdoor ceremony on the hotel's private beachfront, then a transition into the ballroom or pool terrace for cocktails and reception. This split setup requires two independent audio systems running simultaneously — something we handle as a standard workflow in our DJ + Sound and DJ + Sound + Lights packages.
For the ceremony, we deploy a compact wireless PA on the beach — weatherproof speakers, a wireless lapel mic for the officiant, and a handheld for vow readings. Volume is tuned to the 25ft SPL ordinance. Once the ceremony ends, the beach system stays up for cocktail ambient music while the main reception rig in the ballroom does its final sound check — so there is zero dead-air during the transition.
The ballroom rig is already loaded in before the ceremony starts. We coordinate load-in times with the hotel AV team — typically 2–4 hours before ceremony kickoff — so nothing is rushed.
—Two independent audio systems on one package
—Wireless lapel + handheld for officiant + readings
—Beach PA tuned to 25ft ordinance limits
—Ballroom sound check runs during ceremony — zero dead-air
—Hotel AV team coordination included
—Weatherproof speakers and Speakon connectors for beach

Yes — Miami Beach is one of our core markets. We rent full wedding DJ + production packages for Faena, 1 Hotel, Fontainebleau, W South Beach and most Miami Beach hotel and resort properties. We can DJ on the actual beach for private hotel beachfront areas with no additional permits beyond what the hotel arranges. For public beach ceremonies, you will need a Miami Beach Special Event permit. We advise on the process and bring SPL metering to stay compliant with the 25ft rule.
Do I need a permit for a Miami Beach wedding?+
If amplified music is involved on a public beach or outdoor hotel area, typically yes. Private ballrooms inside hotels usually do not require a separate sound permit. We help you identify which category your venue falls into and what paperwork is needed.
Do you work at Faena or 1 Hotel South Beach?+
Yes. We have worked at Faena Miami Beach, 1 Hotel South Beach, and multiple other South Beach and Mid-Beach hotel properties. We know the load-in routes, AV room contacts, and power locations at most major Miami Beach hotels.
What is the 25ft rule?+
Miami-Dade's 25ft rule (active since Feb 2026) limits sound-system output measured at 25 feet from the speaker source: 90 dB before 10 PM, 85 dB after 10 PM. We bring a calibrated SPL meter to every outdoor event and use cardioid subwoofer DSP to reduce low-frequency spread.
Do you provide ceremony audio separately from reception?+
Yes. Our DJ + Sound and DJ + Sound + Lights packages include a dedicated ceremony + cocktail hour audio system separate from the main reception rig. This means your vows are crystal clear without any scramble between rooms.
Do you do ocean-front beachfront receptions?+
We do, with proper planning. Beachfront receptions require weatherproof gear (Chauvet H9IP uplights, Speakon connectors), wind-aware speaker placement, and permit coordination. We quote these on request due to site variability.
